Bill Cisario

The restoration of the Portia Club owes a great deal to Bill Cisario, whose dedication and skill made it possible. After retiring from his career of building restaurants across the West, Bill found a new passion in restoring the Portia Club. He brought with him a treasure trove of tools from his garage, including his trusty tablesaw, and went to work. Bill meticulously installed baseboards, tiled the bathrooms, and even worked on the intricate tiling in front of the fireplace. He reconfigured the century-old kitchen cabinets to fit the space, breathing new life into them. Outside, he replicated the original tiles above the windows, climbing a 12-foot ladder to personally attach them. Bill, a beloved son of Steubenville, Ohio, poured his heart into every detail, leaving a lasting mark on the Portia Club for generations to come.
